About

House of Honey designs spaces that bring people together. Rooted in California since 2005 with studios in Pasadena and Montecito, we are a female collective of interior designers founded by Tamara Kaye-Honey creating moments with playful possibility. We create homes with soul that attract gathering, to celebrate life out loud.

The idea that interiors should be authentic and approachable inspires us. We believe our clients should feel seen and understood, and we challenge ourselves to achieve the unexpected. The poetic combination of both beauty and function, old and new, high and low gives our design a sense of playfulness.

我们掩饰ve that successful living is an embrace for pure, boundless enjoyment of the everyday. In this age of connection (and reconnection), our studio acts as a guide for life well-lived. With pleasure. With the energy of the people you love. We draw inspiration from the golden hills of Southern California, the light playing off the water along the Montecito coast, the smell of roses at sunset in the Pasadena air. This rich history, this beautiful landscape, is woven into our core.

House of Honey works on the principle that collaboration—between our designers, makers and our clients—is the key to creation. Every project begins with a story, inspired by our clients: how they live, what they love, and why they want what they want.

We are a team of women supporting women and this lens opens endless possibilities. We draw upon the routines and rituals of our clients to personalize each space, surrounding them with objects and special touches that cultivate happiness. Our designers combine their unique skills and energies to create magical spaces that are personal and reflect our clients’ lifestyles. Our diverse approach to collaboration is where the alchemy of what we do is found.
