"It's a Balinese pavilion on the Kohala Coast," Paul Vincent Wiseman says of the house he and his associate Timmie Friend designed with architect Robert Glazier on the Big Island of Hawaii for a couple.
The living area "has no doors," Wiseman says. "It's open on all four sides. The floor lamps and the rug suggest but don't define the room's perimeters." Victorian armchair from Amy Perlin Antiques. Patterson, Flynn Martin carpet.
