AtLeyden Lewis, “we have a passion for creating theater for living,”the designertellsAD. That’s no huge surprise, given that the Brooklyn-based Parsons School of Design alum is something of an aesthetic-world triple threat: Trained as an architectural designer, the decorator also has an impressive track record as a fine artist.
That latter pursuit contributes to his general appreciation for contemporary paintings and sculpture, which is a consistent and occasionally colorful thread throughout his interiors. With a portfolio of New York projects on the horizon—from a model apartment at 9 DeKalb to a Meatpacking District duplex—the city’s five boroughs are the perfect canvas for Lewis to realize his vision of creating “fluid integration between life and art.”
