The Casper Original, an all-foam mattress that offers both support and pressure relief, was the first of many mattresses to come from the brand, which now boasts plenty of mattress models to choose from, no matter your sleep position.

Know the material: Whatexactlyis a Casper mattress made of?
Casper’s mattresses use a variety of proprietary foam—here’s a rundown of each type and what they do:
Airscape™ Foam: Increases airflow, great for hot sleepers, moves heat out through thousands of precision-drilled perforations, so that you don’t overheat at night.
Zoned Support Foam: Memory foam layer broken up into three ergonomic zones to help promote spinal alignment. Shoulders sit on top of softer foam, hips and lower back under firmer.
Zoned Support™ Pro Foam: Found in the Nova Hybrid, foam is divided into seven support zones and contoured cuts to reinforce upper layers. Foam around the shoulders is softer, while the waist, lower back, and hips are more supported.
Hybrid Snow A QuickCool™ Cover: Unique to the Wave Hybrid Snow, a casing infused with Phase Change Material, which keeps the bed cool to the touch.
Six HeatDelete™ Bands: Unique to the Wave Hybrid Snow, directs heat away from your body to help you wake up refreshed.
Viscoelastic Foam: Unique to the Element Pro, this memory foam creates a responsive feel that adapts to your body.
Zoned Support™ Max Foam: Layer found in the Wave Hybrid and Wave Hybrid Snow, combined with gel pods, provides full-body relief and reduces aches and pains.
Resilient Springs:Individually wrapped spring coils adding firming lift, support, and airflow to the mattress. This firm border also provides edge support to help you get in and out of bed easily, and prevent long-term sinkage.
The Casper Original Mattress is a three-layer memory foam mattress with Zoned Support™, Casper’s multi-zone support system designed to relieve pressure points and ensure proper spinal alignment. Softer foam around your shoulders helps keep your upper body relaxed, while firmer foam around your hips, waist, and lower back supports your spine. Other key features include Casper’s AirScape cooling system that circulates your body heat away from you, and a durable base of polyurethane foam. FormerADdigital executive director Keith Pollock reviewed the original Casper a few years ago and found that it offered a great level of support and minimal motion transfer: “It isn’t too soft or too firm [and] I also didn’t feel my dogs moving around next to me at night.”
The next model on our list of Casper mattress reviews is the Nova Hybrid—one of the best mattresses out there for those who seek a super plush foam feel but are still looking for a bit of innerspring edge support. It features a total of four foam layers: Two top layers built with Casper’s breathable AirScape cooling system for regulated airflow, a memory foam layer for ergonomic support, and a base layer with encased box springs. The Wave Hybrid is Casper’s most supportive mattress yet. Its Zoned Support™ foam has extra support from gel pods that are predominantly situated under your waist and lower back to not only keep your spine aligned but to keep you from sinking too far down, making it a great mattress for those with lower back pain. Former金博宝188app网址editor Lindsey Mather reviewed the Casper Wave when it first came out and noticed that her hips and shoulders settled deeper into the mattress than other parts of her body. The level of support, combined with a comfort layer of contouring foam, also makes the Casper Wave Hybrid one of the best mattresses for stomach sleepers. Like all Casper mattresses with Zoned Support™ foam, the Wave Hybrid features soft, conforming foam around your shoulders and denser foam around your lower body. The Casper Wave Hybrid Snow has everything the Wave Hybrid mattress has—maximum support, gel pods distributed throughout the foam, AirScape 3 cooling system—plusSnow technology, the brand’s most advanced solution for overheating. In the Wave Hybrid Snow, AirScape foam combines with HeatDelete bands that continuously pull heat away from you while you sleep. The Snow technology also features a breathable fabric that’s cool to the touch when you get into bed, plus a layer of cooling gel that keeps that fresh feeling going through the night. AD contributor Wilder Davies tested the Wave Hybrid Snow and found it to be one of the better temperature-regulating mattresses he’s slept on. As a side sleeper, he tends to prefer hybrid mattresses because they prevent that “stuck-in-the-mud feeling” of foam mattresses. “I like the idea of having a balance between the base support of pocket coils as well as specific zones for different parts of the body in order to maximize spinal alignment,” he noted in his Casper mattress review. That said, Wilder would only recommend this bed to other side sleepers who prefer a very firm feel and don’t mind minimal edge support.
Released in 2022 for just shy of $1,000, the Casper Element Pro is one of Casper’s more affordable mattresses and great for combination sleepers. It features a layer of memory foam as well as a layer of viscoelastic foam to create a responsive feel. (Note that, unlike the other Casper mattresses featured in this article, this memory foam is not multi-zonal.) Similar to the Casper Original, it features AirScape 1 technology for breathability.ADcontributor Clementine Le Coz recently reviewed the Element Pro and, as a side, stomach, and back sleeper, loved the foam feel. She found the memory foam to have great motion isolation, containing her movements to her side of the bed even when she’d change positions. “Every night, I’m still surprised at the medium-firm mattress support and pressure relief the Element Pro offers, while its soft, comforting pillowy layer invites a deep sleep,” she wrote. She found the only major downside to be the minimal edge support. “When sitting on the very edge of the bed (like, to put on socks), the mattress sags more than its spring-based counterparts.” (Read her full review of the Casper Element Prohere.)
