Nearly eight years after Cher—whose life you can currently see onstage in the Broadway musicalThe Cher Show— snapped up, combined, and overhauled two units in the ultraexclusive Sierra Towers, the 2,300-square-foot Los Angeles apartment is back on the market for $6.995 million. This luxe residence (listed byMillion Dollar Listing: Los Angeles's James Harris and David Parnes of Bond Street Partners at The Agency) was actuallyfeatured in Architectural Digestin 2010, with Cher referring to the renovated interiors—which she, along with interior designerMartyn Lawrence Bullard, oversaw—as "something ethnic, spicy, and romantic." Indeed, the entire home is overflowing with Eastern-influenced art, architecture, and decor, all inspired by, as Cher intimated, her life as "a Buddhist who should always be in after-school detention."

Many of these elements, for now, will remain in the residence, which includes two one-bedroom, one-bathroom units—each with private balconies—that are connected via a spiral staircase. Downstairs, an entertainment area, kitchen, and salon feature custom decoration and wall paneling that Lawrence Bullard created with antiques from India and other countries. Upstairs, Cher's former master suite occupies the whole floor and features an Indian-paneled platform bed—which looks out on a dazzling panorama stretching from Malibu to Hollywood—a sitting room, and a bath that Lawrence Bullard described as “very Cleopatra” considering the tub, wrapped in 19th-century stone, sits squarely in the middle of the room. “Push a button, and a gauze curtain embroidered with gold Indian symbols engulfs the tub,” he explained of the amenities, which also include a dressing room with a mirrored façade from a palace in Jaipur, India. “Cher loves all things exotic. And this room is like one big harem.”
