Who knewLiev Schreiberwas such an art fanatic? At the Take Home A Nude event atSotheby'slast week, theRay Donovanactor waxed poetic about what he was interested in, work he loved in his home, and a piece a different kind of art: his first apartment. "I've seen several things tonight I'm interested in. There's a word carving I really love; there's this abstract by Madeline Hine; there's this cloud drawing over there by an artist who did a horse drawing Naomi and I tried to get a few years ago, unsuccessfully," Schreiber said, referring to his estranged wife, actressNaomi Watts. As for the first piece of art he ever purchased, "I commissioned a picture of Naomi and our newborn son by an artist from the Art Academy. I gave it to Naomi. I don't know what she's done with it. We don't live together anymore."

Another place he doesn't live is in Brooklyn, where the actor had his very first apartment in New York. "It was in Williamsburg. Norman Vanamee, who was a writer for New York Magazine, and I rented a place on North 10th Street and Wythe. It was a horrible neighborhood, where people used to come to get really cheap ****jobs. And it was this really cheap 2,000-square-foot loft overlooking the East River that we could ride our motorcycles into and it only cost $1,000 a month, which at the time was a fortune to us," Schreiber explained. "And I went to Williamsburg recently, and I was like: 'Holy sh*t, I should have hung on to that place!'"
