Lucky for us New Yorkers, Jennifer Ash Rudick’s new cocktail-table staple, Palm Beach Chic (Vendome Press, $75), delivers just the right dose of trellis-patterned walls and flamingo-pink rattan mixed in with a sobering bit of poolside minimalism. Rudick, who grew up in Palm Beach herself, lets us in the homes of 25 fashion designers (Lisa Perry), arts patrons (Beth Rudin DeWoody), interior designers (Lars Bolander), and more, proving that “Palm Beach chic” can mean so many things.
